We are a 501(c)(3) with the sole purpose of fundraising for the GOHS Fine Arts Department. Other programs pay an organizer 50% of the funds raised, they build the flags, set the routes and mark your curb. None of our team take any funds for their personal use, our time and effort are purely volunteer based. 100% of your donation after the expense of the flags, storage, and website are donated to the GOHS Fine Arts Department. You may cancel your subscription, however your generous tax deductible donation will be donated to the GOHS Fine Arts Department. In the event that you submitted your order and you live outside the GOHS attendance zone, we will refund you as our program boundaries follow their zone.
When - Our subscription cycle begins with the Labor Day holiday and runs through the July 4th holiday. If you’re a new subscriber, you will receive your first flag for Labor Day.
Cost - $40 donation, we DO NOT pass on the PayPal or Credit Card processing fee
Renew - You will receive an email each year offering you an opportunity to renew. GO Flags WILL NEVER automatically enroll you to auto renew or charge your credit card or PayPal account without your approval.
If you haven't received a flag by 5pm on Sunday (before the holiday) email email@example.com
If your flag or sleeve are broken email firstname.lastname@example.org
If your flag is stolen email email@example.com
If you move within the GOHS attendance zone email firstname.lastname@example.org
If I want to order after 8/21 but before Labor Day? We are happy to add you to our program at any time. The not prorated, subscription donation is $40. Your first flag will be placed on the Veteran's Day holiday.
Safety is our first concern. If inclement weather is forecasted, the flags will not be placed. We will work to come up with a make-up date if possible. We will do everything we can so that we don’t have to skip any holidays.
Once your subscription order is received/processed and before the first holiday, the GO Flags team will place a small tag on your curb and an approximately 12 inch piece of PVC in your yard near the curb. Beginning Labor Day of your subscription year, GOHS Fine Arts students and parents will place a 10 foot flag pole in your yard using the PVC port
No, but you are more than welcome to place a light so that it shines on the flag. Solar lights or low voltage landscape lights work well for this. You may also take the flag inside at night if you wish, but please make sure it is back in the sleeve the next morning before the flags are retrieved. Thank you for your support!
